Sinopsis

Después del estallido social en Perú y la matanza del 9 de enero de 2023 en Juliaca, artistas del ande peruano nos harán viajar con su música por la región de Puno y su historia. Una tierra azotada históricamente por la represión y las revueltas indígenas.

After the social unrest in Peru and the massacre of January 9, 2023, in Juliaca, artists from the Peruvian Andes will take us on a journey through the Puno region and its history with their music — a land historically ravaged by repression and indigenous uprisings.

Javier Corcuera es director y guionista, recibió entre otros premios el Premio Goya de La Academia del Cine Español, el Premio FIPRESCI del Festival de Cine de San Sebastián, la Biznaga de Plata del Festival de Málaga y mejor película documental del Festival de Cine Latinoamericano de Lima. Entre sus películas figuran títulos como La Espalda del mundo, Invierno en Bagdad, La guerrilla de la memoria, En el mundo a cada rato, Invisibles, Sigo siendo, El viaje de Javier Heraud y No somos nada. Es fundador y director del festival de cine del Sáhara y codirigió la Cineteca de Madrid. 

Javier Corcuera is a director and screenwriter who has received, among other honors, the Goya Award from the Spanish Film Academy, the FIPRESCI Prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival, the Silver Biznaga at the Málaga Film Festival, and Best Documentary Film at the Lima Latin American Film Festival. His films include titles such as The Back of the World, Winter in Baghdad, The Guerrilla of Memory, In the World, Every Now and Then, Invisible, I Still Am, The Journey of Javier Heraud, and We Are Nothing. He is the founder and director of the Sahara International Film Festival and co-directed the Madrid Cineteca.
